After a few setbacks, Coach Peter Kruys was finally able to coach his 1700th game for Russell Minor Hockey last night. The game in Navan was a 3-3 tie vs the Gloucester Centre Cougars in their 1st playoff game. Truly a remarkable milestone; Coach Kruys began coaching in Russell in 1984 after coming over from the Metcalfe District Hockey Association. It has been quite a ride that hopefully will continue with the RMHA.
