📚 How to Use the Game Swap Finder
Step 1: Export & Upload League Data
Navigate to the Dashboard & Switching tab. Click the Open TTM Schedule Portal link to download your latest schedule and team contact CSV files. Once downloaded, upload both files side-by-side in the upload section.

Step 2: Locate the Target Game
In the "Search Target Game" section, enter your Game ID to swap (e.g., HLU1100) and click Search Game to retrieve its matchup, date, time, and arena details.
Step 3: Analyze Suitable Swaps
Select which team (Home or Away) is requesting the switch from the dropdown menu, then click Analyze Suitable Swaps. The engine will filter the master schedule to find matches that:
- Satisfy Hockey Eastern Ontario division crossover rules.
- Strictly enforce the 4-hour minimum rest period for all participating teams.
- Highlight Optimal 3-Team Swaps (marked with a star ⭐), ensuring non-requesting teams retain their exact home/away positions against a new opponent.
You can instantly download your search results as a CSV or print/save them to PDF using the buttons directly above the results table.
Step 4: Review and Share the Proposal
Click any valid result in the table to open the Proposed Switch tab. This visualizes the original schedule first, followed by the proposed changes. Note: Game IDs, dates, times, and arenas are permanently fixed—only the teams shift. Use the quick-copy buttons or the Save / Print PDF feature to share the clean proposal summary complete with team contact details.
Step 5: Manage Full Schedules & Calendars
Switch over to the Full Schedule tab to view all loaded games, filter by any specific team, export team schedules directly into an `.ics` file for calendar apps (Apple/Google Calendar), download as CSV, or save/print as a formatted PDF.
